I Installed Quickbooks, But My Computer Runs A Little Slower.?

I installed Quickbooks Pro 2007, as practice on my home computer so I may find employment using Quickbooks. I noticed it made my screen switches to run a bit slower. I am on Windows Vista 2007. Are the internet options installe
along with the google icon installed on my desktop necessary for me to use and learn QBks? Icons installed were google, Cheks & More”; “Payroll”; “Process Credit Cards” and “Support for Quickbooks”. I also installed the regular Quickbooks 2007 icon for accessing QBKS itself. Do I need all of these icons to properly use QKBKS? If not, what should I do? I’m not terribly computer savvy. Thank you.
